Le point zéro
Anna Vanneau & La Zampa
2025-2027 Documentary and choreographic fiction
A series of 4 independent but interconnected video-dance shorts, combining documentary and choreographic fiction.
Each film is shot in a specific geological zone, located between the plains of Toulouse and the Bethmale valley, as determined by geologist Baptiste Lepillier. The 4 films explore the resonance between the natural strata and the physicality of the people who inhabit this territory. The filmmaking follows two axes: a cinematographic gaze close to the bodies, capturing gestures, dances and practices, and a narrative dimension nourished by local legends and myths. This cohabitation opens up an imaginary world made up of singular and original narratives.Le point zéro is at the heart of the D’une montagne à l’autre regional project by the La Zampa company, which combines performance and play with local residents, artists and a geologist to explore and juxtapose physicality, imagination and perception, questioning our physical, mental and symbolic relationship with the territory, but also with time, memory and the hypotheses of a more or less near future. Le point zéro offers a sensitive cartography where spaces, gestures and imaginary worlds come together, suggesting new ways of reading the world.
