Far West is a journey, a voyage stretching between a past deliberately left behind and an uncertain future whose outcome we cannot guess.

At an indeterminate time, in an undefined, limitless space that is guided only by the movement towards a fading horizon, eight men and women form a caravan of chance, lives gathered together and cast into the flow of an existence conjugated in the present tense, without hope or nostalgia. They move forward, one step at a time, carrying and transporting bodies or objects, using a stick to lean on or to strike, building a shelter with a few scraps of wood. They inhabit times long past, and perhaps those yet to come. On a journey to a distant West, Magali Milian and Romuald Luydlin, who have been creating for fifteen years with their company La Zampa, apply themselves to accomplishing and excavating a few movements down to their first, primary intentions, which then seem to unfold upon themselves. In this physical and inner research, the body becomes the measure of everything, time is built without a project.
