Sœur

Sœur is Compagnie Roselend’s second artistic object, on the border between cinema and contemporary dance, with the image at the center.

Created for the public space, the piece has been presented in places outside the usual stage setting: coachworks, hospitals, national parks, the Vauban Tower, villas…
With no linear story, Sœur is circular, a succession of familiar or distorted faces, exploring the body as political flesh and collective symbol.
Contemporary dance and Super 8 projections create a physical and mental playground, questioning limits and transformations, particularly in times of confinement.
