A dancer and artist for nearly fifteen years, I currently collaborate with Christian Rizzo (à l’ombre d’un vaste détail, hors tempête – 2025), La Zampa company (Empire – 2025 and Ceinture de Feu – 2026), Youness Aboulakoul (Ayta – 2024) and Nefeli Asteriou (Tear – 2026).

Eight years ago, the shooting of the film Benedetta by Paul Verhoeven and the discovery, that same year, of Super 8 filmmaking, marked a true turning point in my artistic career, which had until then been essentially choreographic.
Since then, I have continuously explored the possible contact zones between dance and cinema.
These zones are spaces that I unfold, that I question, and that fuel my creative drive. I consider them as places of thought, movement and objects, and they form my artistic, political and intimate identity.

Whether in visual art or dance, what inspires me is intrinsically linked to our era; while observing my roots, I try to take the pulse of what surrounds me in order to deploy my own zones of creativity.

Starting from this premise, the dancing subjects and/or characters of my films are never isolated; they are part of an attempt to make their stories resonate on a more collective scale. I create my works by conceiving them as a contemporary fresco, traversed by different artistic currents and cinematic genres, juxtaposing layers of underground narratives.

My relationship to territory and the elements was completely upended when, over the course of two years, I had the opportunity to participate in four artistic sailing tours. Since then, it has become impossible for me to dissociate an artistic work from the environment — real, fictional or fantasized — that constitutes it. The setting, the territorial context and what it implies in terms of imaginaries, cultures and relationships with living beings, have become one of the major focal points of my attention.

I conceive my works with the idea that an artistic object must define its own territory and establish its own laws, which cannot be limited to dominant narrative, aesthetic, moral or political norms. It is along this line of thinking that I developed the Le point zéro corpus project, comprising four short films, in collaboration with geologist Baptiste Lepillier and the state-funded contemporary dance company La Zampa.

At the same time, my work is rooted in the tension generated by disparity: between documentary and fiction, figurative and abstract, cinema and contemporary dance, narrative and concept, collective and self-sufficiency… I thus strive to develop narratives at the edge of distinct worlds, to open up a cohabitation, in order to invite the uncanny into my creations. Like an invitation to let oneself slide into a space made of frictions, opening access to new narratives, drawing the contours of a contemporary mythology of my own.
