With the support of geologist Baptiste Lepillier, the exploration of the subterranean worlds, and more specifically of the marble formed here in a tectonic rift, becomes both a setting and a material conveying symbolism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mining embodies a physical and poetic exploration of the depths, while the black\/white contrast of the marble opens up reflections on rites, life and death. The testimony of a former thanatopractor enriches this symbolic dimension, linking mineral matter and human practices.
